Lafz handovers campaign’s profit for education support

Lafz, the global halal certified brand, handovers 25% of their profits from “Gift a Smile” campaign for underprivileged children’s education. 

Md Jahidul Islam, head of operations of Believe private limited, recently handed over a contribution of Tk1.5 lakh to Asroy Foundation, SACO (Social Association and Care Organization) and Navadyom Foundation each.

An agreement has been signed with these foundations in the same program in which Lafz took the responsibility of education for 500 children up to eighth grade in the first phase.  

Shahana Yasmin, senior vice president of Asroy Foundation, said Lafz’s initiative for the education of underprivileged children is truly commendable. 

Lafz ran a campaign titled “Gift a Smile” during the month of Ramadan. 

According to them, 25% of the proceeds from the sales of the campaign will be used to support the education of underprivileged children.

Lafz is is owned by Believe Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based venture which has a vision to take responsibility of education for 1 million underprivileged children globally by 2025.
