University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and the University of Calcutta recently signed a memorandum of understanding, signalling the venture of a joint partnership.
The University of Calcutta is a public university accredited with grade “A” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), read a press release issued on Sunday.
The University of Calcutta is ranked four and 11 in the University and Overall categories, respectively, by Indian National Institutional Ranking Framework.
Calcutta University Vice Chancellor Prof Sonali Chakravarti Banerjee and ULAB VC Prof Imran Rahman signed the MoU in the office of Prof Sonali on April 21.
The signing of the MoU will pave the way for joint research, exchange of academic materials and publications, alongside student and faculty exchange, said the press release.
