2,067 more Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia

Five Biman Bangladesh Airlines flights carrying 2,067 hajj pilgrims reached Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

This year, Biman Bangladesh Airlines will carry 61,111 hajj pilgrims out of a total of 122,221. The rest will fly Saudia or Flynas.

Biman will operate 162 pre-hajj flights from May 21 to June 22 and 168 post-hajj flights from July 2 to August 3.

Besides Dhaka, Biman is operating flights from Chittagong and Sylhet to Jeddah and Madina.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the hajj program on May 19.
