The national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines is going to operate a special flight Dhaka-Chittagong-Dubai route on Sunday, and will operate direct regular flights from Chittagong to Dubai from January 11.
Passengers will be able to purchase tickets for the flight from 4:30 pm on Thursday, said a Biman press release.
With the PCR Lab facility at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong and for the convenience of passengers, the authorities have taken initiative to operate special and regular flights, it said.
On Sunday, the flight will depart from Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:15 am and arrive at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong at 11 am.
The same flight will leave Shah Amanat International Airport at 12pm and reach Dubai at 3.30pm local time. According to the Dubai Travel Advisory, passengers must be at the airport at least 8 hours before departure.
The one-way maximum fare for economy class ticket Tk65,329 including tax and business class ticket is Tk86,536. On January 4, Biman decided to cut price of tickets to Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
