The Bangladesh Air Force met with the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) on Thursday to discuss its participation in the ongoing Airport Emergency Exercise 2020.
The meeting, attended by top officials, was held at the Air Force Headquarters in Dhaka on Thursday, said a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Chaired by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, the meeting discussed in detail the participation of the armed forces and joint activities with CAAB to make the Airport Emergency Exercise 2020 successful and fruitful.
At the meeting, the director of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) and the head of the Flight Safety Directorate gave a brief overview of the exercise to top air force commanders.
Representatives of Dhaka airport and CAAB, among others, were also present at the meeting.
