NDUB Research Journal Launching Program held

Notre Dame University Bangladesh has organized the inauguration of NDUB Research Journal On Thursday 29 October, 2020.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir was present virtually at the inaugural ceremony as chief guest.

Vice Chancellor of NDUB Professor Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, said: “A university's quality depends on its research works, and so Notre Dame University Bangladesh is continuously working to increase their research works with the help of their learners and faculty members.”

Fazle Kabir, chief guest and governor of Bangladesh Bank, said: “As we all know that Bangladesh has shown impressive success in accelerating economic growth and development in recent years; Bangladesh Bank highly encourages creative research and is happy to be a part of quality academic institutions like Notre Dame University Bangladesh.”

Professor Dr. Azizur Rahman, editor of NDUB research journal, said: “The expansion of research and research-based works will erase the unemployment problem of Bangladesh and will also provide the efficiency to cope with the world economy. 

“NDUB is run by the missionaries; it never takes commercial benefits into account, but always prioritizes only the knowledgeable enrichment of the NDUB family. And the university is continuously increasing its tasks and mutual academic relation with the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA,” a NDUB media release said.

Dr. Fr. Leonard Shankar Rozario, CSC, Deputy Registrar of NDUB, and Prof. Dr. Azizur Rahman, editor of the academic research journal, was also present as special guests.

Chief Public Relations Officer Ahmed Tahsin Shams conducted the program at NDUB premises, maintaining all the necessary health measures during the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
