Two other accused in the Sylhet MC College gang rape case, gave confessional statements under the 164 section of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
All the arrested eight accused, have confessed to their crime in court, reports UNB.
Additional Judge Md Zihadur Rahman recorded the statements of the accused Tarequl Islam Tareq, and Metropolitan Magistrates Court-2 Judge Saifur Rahman, that of Mahfuzar Rahman, after Inspector Indranil Bhattacharya, an investigation officer of the case, produced them in the courts.
After the trial on Sunday, they were sent back to jail by the court.
Earlier, six accused in the cases delivered confession statements in the case on Friday and Saturday.
They all tied up a man and raped his 19 year old wife in the MC College dormitory on the night of September 25.
After police rescued the couple, the victim’s husband filed a case with Shah Poran police station in the early hours of September 26, against nine people, mentioning the names of six.
Eight of the accused in the case are currently in police custody.
