A former student of North South University has been missing along with his car and driver from Chittagong city since Monday afternoon.

The missing youth Junayed Ahmed, 25, son of late Altaf Hossain, completed his BBA from NSU in April of this year.

Junayed is a resident of Kusumbag Residential Area under Khulshi police station in the city.

Nizam Uddin, officer-in-charge of Khulshi police, told the Dhaka Tribune that a general diary (GD) has been filed in this connection.

SM Manjur, brother-in-law of Junayed, filed the case on Tuesday.

Quoting SM Manjur, the Khulshi OC said: “Junayed and the driver Md Mostafa, 30, left home on Monday for Agrabad in the city and on his way there, Junayed picked up his friend Rabbi. Later on his way back home, Junayed dropped his friend at Wasa intersection.”

Both Junayed and the driver have been missing since then. Their mobile phones are also unreachable,” the OC said.

Both Detective Branch and Khulshi police are investigating the incident. No one has yet demanded any ransom following the disappearance of the duo,” the OC added.

Junayed was running a business with his brother-in-law after completing his studies from NSU.
