113 Bangladesh nationals stranded in Vietnam due to travel restrictions enforced amidst the coronavirus pandemic, have returned home.
A special flight of US-Bangla Airlines brought them back from Hanoi, Vietnam, and landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) around 4pm on Tuesday.
All the returnees have been taken to the capital’s Ashkona Hajj Camp for 14 days of institutional quarantine, said Dr Zahirul Islam, health in-charge at the airport.
General Manager (PR) of US-Bangla Airlines, Kamrul Islam, confirmed the matter in a press release.
US-Bangla Airlines, in collaboration with the governments of Bangladesh and Vietnam, brought back the stranded Bangladeshis from Vietnam.
