Fifty-five people, including 13 drug peddlers, have been detained in a special drive conducted in different areas of Jhenaidah district.
The drive took place from Tuesday night to early Wednesday.
Confirming the matter, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mizanur Rahman said: “We are conducting drives in the district as a part of the countrywide anti-narcotics drive.”
