Biker killed in Dhaka road accident

A biker has been killed after a private car rammed into his motorcycle in Dhaka’s Chandrima Udyan area. The deceased has been identified as Md Rayhan, the in-charge of Pizza Hut’s Uttara branch. Rayhan’s younger brother Ravel said: “My brother left for work around 7:30am on Thursday. A private car knocked down his bike when he reached Chandrima Udyan and fled the scene. “Pedestrians took him to Suhrawardy Hospital. He was later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to the injuries around 9:15am.” Sher-e-Bangla Nagar OC GG Biswash told the Dhaka Tribune that no complaint was filed and added that they were trying to trace the private car.
