One dengue patient died and 486 others were hospitalized in 24 hours to Sunday morning across Bangladesh.
With the new death, the total number of fatalities reached 107 while the total number of admitted patients rose to 19,075, according to a press release of the health directorate.
It said 46 new patients were admitted to hospitals in Barisal division, 79 in Chittagong, 77 in Dhaka (outside the two city corporations), 103 in Dhaka north, 130 in Dhaka south, 39 in Khulna division, 3 in Rajshahi division and nine in Rangpur division.
Besides, 16,987 patients have been released from hospitals.
