A Dhaka court on Wednesday placed Amra Bangladesh (AB) Party Member Secretary Mojibur Rahman Monju on a five-day remand in a subversion case filed with Dhanmandi police station.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury passed the order as police produced Monju before the court and pleaded to place him on a seven-day
remand.
Sub-inspector (SI) Md Kamrul Islam of Dhanmandi police station filed the case against around 400 people on July 21.
Monju was detained from his relative's home in Mirpur DOHS area early Tuesday and later showed arrested in the case.
