Legends of Rupganj convincingly defeated Gazi Group Cricketers by eight wickets in Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Rupganj chased down the 251-run target against Gazi Group with ease as they achieved a commanding win in 45.3 overs.
The start during the chase was not perfect for Rupganj as two wickets fell within six overs with 27 runs on the board.
But opener Mehedi Maruf and wicketkeeper-batsman Jaker Ali formed a brilliant unbroken 226-run partnership for the third wicket to secure a comprehensive win.

Maruf scored a superb run-a-ball 137-run innings with a dozen fours and five sixes.
Jaker made 107 off 126 balls with 13 fours and one six.
Earlier, Gazi Group managed to post 250 losing nine wickets in their stipulated 50 overs.
Indian recruit Parvez Rasool was the top-scorer with 86 off 80 balls while captain Imrul Kayes made 48.
