Meteorologist Abul Kalam Mallik said this April has been relatively comfortable compared to previous years. He noted that in earlier years, April temperatures had reached up to 42°C, whereas this year the highest recorded was 40°C. He added that due to expected storms and rainfall in May, temperatures are unlikely to rise significantly, and from today onward, a gradual decline in heat is expected as thunderstorms and rain set in.
