Campaigning for the Bogra-6 (Sadar) parliamentary by-election ended on Tuesday morning, with authorities enforcing a ban on all forms of electioneering in the constituency.

According to a public notice issued by Senior District Election Officer and Returning Officer Fazlul Karim, all rallies, processions, and public gatherings have been prohibited from 7:30am on April 7 until 4:30pm on April 11 to ensure a peaceful vote.

Three candidates are contesting the by-election: Rezaul Karim Badsha of BNP (paddy sheaf), Abidur Rahman Sohel of Jamaat, backed by an 11-party alliance (scales), and Al Amin Talukdar of Bangladesh Development Party (cauliflower).

Polling will be held on April 9 from 7:30am to 4:30pm without interruption using ballot papers, according to the district election office.
