A devastating fire at a gas lighter factory in Kadamtali in the capital has been brought under control, with five bodies recovered from the scene.
Shahjahan Sikder, acting officer of the Media Cell at the Fire Service headquarters, confirmed the incident on Saturday afternoon.
He stated that the bodies were recovered after the blaze was extinguished, though authorities have not yet determined whether the victims are male or female.
