Ruman returns home Tuesday

Mohammad Ruman Shana is set to return home today morning after his historic feat at the World Archery Championship where he became the first Bangladeshi to win a medal (bronze) there and directly qualify for the Tokyo Olympics 2022.

Bangladesh Archery Federation arranged a felicitation program at Sheikh Russel Roller Skating Complex in Paltan to honor its top athlete.

Ruman exhibited brilliant form at the World Archery Championship where he beat some Olympic gold-medalist archers to grab the third spot in the recurve men individual event.

The feat saw him earn a quota place in the Olympics and become the second Bangladeshi after golfer Siddikur Rahman to do so.
