Dhaka Metro Premier Volleyball: Titas, PDB emerge joint champions

Holder Titas Club and Power Development Board emerged as the joint champions in the Dhaka Metropolitan Premier Division Volleyball League after both teams finished their campaign on the same number of points (25) Wednesday. Titas and PDB were the finalists in the last five editions with PDB winning thrice.

Water Development Board became runners-up with 21 points while Border Guard Bangladesh finished third with 19 points. Harsit Biswas of PDB, Sujan Ali of Titas and Nepal’s Bahadur of WDB were adjudged best attacker, defender and setter respectively. The first and second division volleyball league were also held simultaneously at the same venue. The first division ended Monday with Ansar & VDP finishing as champion while the second division concluded Wednesday where BKSP defeated Banani Nabarun Sangha to clinch the title.
