Dhaka Tribune’s Bilkis Irani wins DRU carrom tournament

The Dhaka Tribune’s very own Bilkis Irani won the singles carrom tournament as part of Prime Bank-Dhaka Reporters’ Unity’s annual sports festival Sunday. Bilkis beat Baishaki TV’s Parvin Sultana Kakon 29-14 Sunday afternoon in the final to claim the championship. A total of 15 competitors took part in the tournament. The tournament was held at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity hallroom. Prizes will be given Tuesday morning at the Sagor-Runi memorial auditorium.
