Bangladesh U-21 hockey team players received the green signal to begin training after all of their Covid-19 test results came out negative, as they will now start practicing Thursday at the Bangladesh Air Force Bangabandhu base.
Ahead of the Bangabandhu U-21 Junior Asia Cup Hockey next year in Dhaka, Bangladesh junior hockey team joined the national camp at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the capital.
Currently residing there, 37 members of the U-21 hockey squad all tested Covid-19 negative, along with the coaching staff.
The tournament is scheduled to begin on January 21 with Bangladesh grouped with sub-continent rivals India and Pakistan.
