The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has decided to resume female football residential practice camp on the first week of October and Women’s Football League in early November.
Both age group training camp and women’s football league have been postponed since March due to Covid-19 pandemic.
“We are going to start female football camp from the first week of October. I don’t think there would be any international tournament this year. The girls will have time to get prepared for 2021.” said BFF’s women’s football committee chairman Mahfuza Akter Kiron.
“Bangladesh Women’s Football League is going to resume in the first week of November. We asked the clubs to start preparation through letters.” she added.
Head coach Golam Rabbani Choton said they have taken procedures to initiate the camp. “They started running, going to nearby fields for practice since June. We are looking after them through online classes.”
Some 58 female footballers left the capital on March18 after the ministry recommended to postpone all sports activities. Around 30 of them are set to return in the first week of October.
