Bangladesh Football Federation has altered the result of a quarter final match of the ongoing Walton U-18 football tournament between Abahani Limited and Chittagong Abahani as they found the latter guilty of breaching discipline and awarded the former the match.
On 22nd September, the Chittagong side won the quarter final match by 5-4 in a tie-breaker as the stipulated 90 minutes ended on a 1-1 draw in the Bangabandhu National Stadium, but after the match, Dhanmondi-based Abahani Limited made an official complain to BFF about the forgery of a Chittagong player.
On Tuesday, a disciplinary committee meeting of BFF found out that a Chittagong player, who was registered as Obaidur Rahman Saidu, had earlier registered as Ramiz Uddin to play for Govt. BG Press and RC in the Saif Power Battery Third Division Football back in 2018.
