Bangladesh will play the two-match Test series against hosts Sri Lanka at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy, starting from April 21 this year.
Sri Lanka Cricket released the itinerary for Bangladesh’s tour of Sri Lanka through a media release.
According to the itinerary, Bangladesh team will reach Sri Lanka on April 12 to play two matches of the World Test Championship.
After completing quarantine for a few days, Bangladesh will play a two-day intra-squad practice match at Chilaw Marians Cricket Club Ground, Katunayake, which will start from April 17.
The first Test will start from April 21 and the second Test will commence from April 29.
The series between Bangladesh and the island nation was earlier postponed in September last year due to strict Covid-19 guidelines set by Sri Lanka Covid-19 task force.
Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan while confirming their decision not to tour Sri Lanka had said the length of the quarantine, which the Sri Lankan health authorities insisted to be 14 days, with the players' movement strictly limited to their hotel rooms, was the main reason behind their disagreement.

This time however, Bangladesh will only be in a week-long quarantine, a protocol that Sri Lanka started with England, who toured the island nation earlier in January this year.
The English side were self-isolated for the first three days since their arrival and was later allowed to attend practice sessions.
After playing the two Tests, Bangladesh will then host Sri Lanka for a three-ODI series, part of the pathway to the World Cup Super League.
Bangladesh have played five matches so far in the WTC and lost all of them.
Bangladesh lost against India twice away in November 2019 and then lost against Pakistan away in 2020.
Bangladesh also lost their home series against the West Indies recently and thus have not collected a single point in the WTC's points table.
India and New Zealand are leading the chart in the points table of the WTC and they will lock horns in the final at Southampton, England in June this year.
