Bangladesh women’s cricket team will face India B side Wednesday in the grand finale of the four-nation Twenty20 series after beating Thailand by two wickets Tuesday in a last-ball thriller in Patna’s Urza Stadium.
Batting first, Thailand posted a moderate 120 runs losing three wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.
Thailand were in early trouble as they lost their first wicket with only four runs on the board before Nattakan Chantam (60) and Nannapat Konchareyonki (28) added 65 for the second wicket.
Chantam then put on 47 for the third wicket alongside Chanida Suthiruyang (24) before the latter was caught short of the crease with the scoreboard reading 116.
Chantam faced 60 balls in her innings and struck four fours and a couple of sixes.
Suthiruyang played 17 deliveries as Thailand eventually registered a fighting total.

In reply, the Tigresses reached their destination in the very last ball to earn eight points from three matches, including two wins.
India B finished at the top of the points table with maximum 12 points from three games.
Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals but Fahima Khatun’s 13-ball 28 took the women in red and green to the shore.
Fahima struck a boundary in the final delivery of the innings, while Shamima Sultana (38), Sanjida Islam (21) and Nigar Sultana (15) also played their part early on.
Thailand’s Ratanaporn Padunglard bagged three wickets while Nataya Bochatham notched two.
