Shahtaj's musical journey

Young, beautiful, bold and talented, Shahtaj Monira has bowled over countless people with her childlike charm and on-screen charisma. She has worked in numerous TV and ad campaigns for Banglalink, acted in TV plays and telefilms -- most notably, Chini Gura. The new song, titled as “Ure Jai” was released just a day before Eid. The audience was surprised when they found out about Shahtaj's singing talents. Shahtaj says that she was previously contacted to appear in the video as a model only. However, Adit learned about Shahtaj's ability to sing and insisted her to to sing for the track. That is how model – actress Shahtaj turned into a singer. The song has over fifty thousand views on YouTube on one particular video but there many other videos of the same song that are circulating, which has made its viewership seem promising within a very short time. Even though Shahtaj has not decided to become a full-fledged musician right away, this song has made it a possibility for her to pursue a career as one. The song “Ure Jai” has been written by Toufiq Ahmed, composed by Adit and Shuvro, the music has been arranged by Adit.
