Prime Video has announced that the second season of its college drama “Off Campus” will premiere on April 28, 2027, with several cast members returning for the new instalment.
The announcement comes less than a year after the first season debuted on May 13. The series received an early renewal in February, before its premiere, allowing production on the second season to move forward on a shorter timeline.
Created by Louisa Levy and based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling “Off-Campus” book series, the show follows an elite college ice hockey team and the women in their lives as they navigate romance, friendship and the challenges of adulthood.
According to the report, the first season attracted 36 million viewers in its first 12 days, becoming the third most-watched debut season in Prime Video history. It also recorded the platform’s most-watched debut among women aged 18–34 and remained in the streamer’s global Top 10 six months after its release.
The second season will focus on the relationship between Allie Hayes, played by Mika Abdalla, and Dean Di Laurentis, portrayed by Stephen Kalyn. Their storyline is based on “The Mistake”, the second novel in Kennedy’s series.
Returning cast members include Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham, Ella Bright as Hannah Wells, Antonio Cipriano as John Logan and Jalen Thomas Brooks as John Tucker. Josh Heuston, whose character's storyline concluded in the first season, will not return.
India Fowler joins the main cast as Grace Ivers, John Logan’s romantic interest. Returning recurring cast members include Julia Sarah Stone as Jules, Khobe Clarke as Beau Maxwell and Miles Gutierrez-Riley as Dexter.
Philipa Soo will also appear in a recurring role as Scarlett, a theatre artist invited to guest-direct an original production in the college’s drama department.
The new season will continue adapting Kennedy’s interconnected stories set in the Briar University community, with a new central romance and returning characters.
