Pierce Brosnan has joined the cast of Netflix’s “Extraction 3”, starring Chris Hemsworth as mercenary Tyler Rake.
Brosnan is among five new additions, alongside Don Lee, Joe Taslim, Chi Lewis-Parry and Siena Agudong. Their roles and the film’s plot are being kept under wraps.
“Extraction 3” is currently filming in Australia, with Hemsworth returning as Tyler Rake. Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani are also set to reprise their roles.
Sam Hargrave, who directed the first two films, returns to direct the third instalment. David Weil wrote the screenplay based on a story by Ande Parks, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo.
The “Extraction” films are based on the graphic novel “Ciudad” by Parks and illustrator Fernando León González.
Netflix has not announced a release date for “Extraction 3”.
