Gracie Abrams unveils third album ‘Daughter from Hell.'

Gracie Abrams has announced her third album, Daughter from Hell, which is set for release on July 17. The pop star also said the album’s lead single, “Hit the Wall,” will arrive on Thursday.

“Whoa whoa whoa,” Abrams wrote on Instagram on Monday. “Freaking out. I am so ready for it to be yours.”

Daughter from Hell follows Abrams’ 2024 album The Secret of Us, which reached No 2 on Billboard’s album chart and produced hits including “Close to You,” “I Love You, I’m Sorry," and “That’s So True.” The latter two have each crossed 1 billion streams on Spotify. The album also included “Us,” her collaboration with Taylor Swift, which earned a Grammy nomination for best pop duo/group performance this year.

Abrams first teased “Hit the Wall” on May 1, telling fans on Instagram that she loved it “with everything I have.”

In January, Abrams told The Hollywood Reporter that the upcoming album was “definitely my favorite music I’ve ever made.”

“I feel very closely connected to it,” she said. “I appreciate so much that these albums are time capsules of where I’m at in my life at any given point, but right now it does feel very like me. I hope that whoever finds it connects with it and that they make it theirs when it’s out one day.”

Beyond music, Abrams is also moving into film. The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that she will make her screen debut in Please, an A24 film from Babygirl director Halina Reijn.
