Told from an Indigenous perspective, the series features a predominantly Polynesian cast, including Luciane Buchanan, Temuera Morrison, Cliff Curtis, and Kaina Makua. The show premieres on August 1 on Apple TV+.

Jenna Ortega returns as the iconic Wednesday Addams. In the second season, she has a disturbing vision of her roommate Enid’s death and believes she’s to blame. Returning cast members include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, and Victor Dorobantu. Guest stars Fred Armisen and Jamie McShane also appear. The series returns August 6 on Netflix.
Alien: Earth
In this suspenseful sci-fi entry, a deep space vessel crash-lands on Earth, leaving a civilian named Wendy and a tactical team to confront an otherworldly threat.
Directed by Noah Hawley, the series stars Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, and Essie Davis. Alien: Earth begins streaming August 12 on FX and Hulu.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf
A prequel to The Terminal List (2022), this series follows Ben Edwards’ path from Navy SEAL to CIA operative.
Taylor Kitsch reprises the lead role, alongside Chris Pratt, Tom Hopper, Luke Hemsworth, and Robert Wisdom. The show premieres August 27 on Prime Video.
It: Welcome to Derry
Although initially expected sooner, It: Welcome to Derry will now debut later in 2025. Set in the 1960s, the horror prequel explores the terrifying origins of Pennywise and the dark history of Derry, Maine.
Bill Skarsgård returns as the infamous clown, joined by Jovan Adepo, Taylour Paige, Joshua Odjick, and others. Directed by Andy Muschietti, the series is set to stream on HBO’s Max platform.
