Director Shihab Shaheen to create the Chorki original movie “Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya" under the “Ministry of Love”.
The plot of “Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya" is based on a long distance relationship that faces uncertainty, doubt, and anger due to this separation. The main characters of the film will be portrayed by actors Pritom Hasan and Tasnia Farin.
The project “Ministry of Love” where 12 filmmakers are to create movies based on the premise of “love”. Mostofa Sarwar Farooki is responsible for co-producing the entire project.
Farooki said with regard to the film, “Shihab Shaheen is quite gifted at showing the genre of romantic stories. I’m sure Shihab Bhai can highlight these feelings of love, the pain of separation and the happiness in reuniting. The casting of Pritam and Farin for this movie was great. I’m looking forward to seeing the result.”
Shihab Shaheen stated, "I have made many love stories in my life. Although there is something to learn from every experience. But, while telling this story, I have come across some completely new experiences. How distance creates stress on love–those who live abroad will understand it well. It is a very touching story.”
The newly married actress Tasnia Farin playing the female lead said that her life has a lot in common with the story of this movie. She stated, “The story of this movie is very similar to my life. My husband and I had a long distance relationship. My character's name in the movie is Sharmin. Sharmin was troubled by past relationships. But after meeting Farhan, something great happened.”
Pritom Hasan said about his role in this movie, “I am playing the role of a RUET student. My character grew up with a traumatic childhood. He is rough around the edges and is unaware about many things. But after falling in love for the first time things started to change in his life.”
The shooting for “Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya" was split between Bangladesh and Australia. Shaheen stated on the experience of working with the entire unit outside the country, "All those involved in the Australia shoot are working tirelessly. Without them working would have been very difficult. We also shot in locations in Rajshahi.”
