With the slogan 'LET'S CINEMA!'Bangladesh's only roaming festival is initiating the opening of 6th Global Youth Film Festival Bangladesh which is going to take place from March 3-5 in Cox's Bazar.
Filmmakers from 32 countries worldwide are going to showcase their films in the festival. This festival was successfully held at Laxmipur, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Bandarban and Natore before.
The opening ceremony will be inaugurated by the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Hasan Mahmud MP tomorrow.
The films will be showcased in the city's public library. The opening and closing ceremony will be held at the same place. Along with the new films by the young filmmakers around the world, some important and controversial movies will also be showcased, such as Rehana Maryem Noor, Moshari, Damal etc.
The second venue of the film is the Laboni Point where the films will be shown everyday at 6:30 pm. The third venue is the main auditorium of Cox Bazar's committee where workshops based on filmmaking will be conducted.
On 5th March, names of the awardee will be announced during the closing ceremony. As a chief guest of the closing ceremony, there will be the Minister of Industries of Bangladesh, Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun MP.
