Gaan Bangla TV has launched a number of programs to celebrate the centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's birth today.
The programs have been featuring patriotic songs all day long. No advertisements have been aired in between the programs.
The Managing Director of the channel, Kaushik Hossain Taposh said: “We wanted to celebrate Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary to the best of our capability. All-day long, patriotic songs are going to be broadcast without any interruptions."
Gaan Bangla TV will air various other special programs throughout the Mujib Year.
