CMV’s Boishakh specials

The renowned audio-video production and distribution house, CMV has recently released a series of exclusive audios and videos on the occasion of Bengali New Year 1424. Two of their music videos have already become quite popular among the audience – one of which is “Pujarini,” starring Asif and Kona, and the other one is “Naa,” featuring actress and model Nazifa Tushi and Jayeb. “Pujarini” has been directed by Topu Khan and composed by Mushfique Litu, while “Naa” is a musical thriller by Rocky, made under the banner of Prekkhagriho. The house is also all set to release another Boishakh special music video, titled “Kotha Dao Tumi.” With Imran and Kona as the singers, TV drama director Mabrur Rashid Banna has directed this music video, while Jony Haque penned the lyrics. One of the main attractions of the music video is Mehjabin Chowdhury – winner of Lux Channel I Superstar 2009, who has worked in the video, along with actor Irfan Sajjad. Besides these videos, the leading production house has also released a number of audio tracks on the occasion, including former Chirkutt vocalist and violinist Pintu Ghosh’s “Dukkho Ahare,” Minar’s “Chokh,” Mala’s “Bondhu Re,” Shaon Gaanwala’s “Mon Valo Nei,” and a remake of the famous Tagore song “Esho He Boishakh, Esho, Esho” by Najir Mahmud. All of these tracks are available to stream on GP and Yonder music. “We are working for the development of true Bengali music.
