Iconic Dhallywood villain Mizu Ahmed passes away

Legendary Dhallywood actor and producer Mizu Ahmed, best known for his negative roles, died of cardiac arrest on Monday at the age of 63. He breathed his last aboard a train at Bimanbandar railway station around 8pm, following a heart attack while was travelling to Dinajpur with a team for shooting of the film “Manus O Omanus.” The film’s director Ahmed Ilias Bhuiyan confirmed the death to UNB. Born Mizanur Rahman on November 17, 1953 in Kushtia, Mizu Ahmed became involved in a local theatre group. In 1978, he made his film debut in “Trishna”. After a few years, he established himself as one of the best villains in the Dhallywood film industry. He had also produced films under his own banner- Friends Movies.
