Beauty and the Beast to be released in Star Cineplex

Emma Watson’s musical, romantic dark fantasy Beauty and the Beast is going to be released in Star Cineplex on March 17, while invited guests will have a chance to watch the movie a day before the release in the theatre. Directed by Bill Condon, Beauty and the Beast is an adaptation of the Disney fairytale about a monstrous-looking prince and a young woman who fall in love. Despite of all the controversy around it, Star Cineplex is going to screen the movie without censoring anything. The film is inspired by Disney’s 1991 animated film of the same title, which itself is an adaptation of Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont’s fairytale. The film is featuring an ensemble cast that includes Emma Watson as the titular character with Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Audra McDonald, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson. In Beauty and the Beast, Belle is taken prisoner by a fearsome beast in his enchanted castle and she learns to look beyond his appearance while evading a narcissistic hunter who seeks to take Belle for himself.
