Jackman wants SRK to be Wolverine

It seems as if Hugh Jackman cannot get over his love for India and Bollywood. Back in 2015, Jackman expressed his love for Bollywood and cricket. The actor who is famed for portraying the iconic comic book character Wolverine said that he would teleport himself to India for Shah Rukh Khan and Sachin Tendulkar. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Jackman also spoke about his affection for India itself. He said, “I’m fascinated by the country. I am intrigued by India’s history and culture. I find India inspiring and exciting. Unfortunately, I have been there for just five days. I would love to be back in India to spend more time.” This time, The 48-year-old Australian-native has spoken about his love for Bollywood’s King Khan again. In fact, he wants SRK to continue the series of Wolverine films after him. “I think I will be fine with it. I hope other people play it. Maybe Shah Rukh Khan can play it,” Jackman said during promotions for Nolan. About the role of Wolverine which he has been playing for an astounding 17 years, the actor said, “The comic book series is so good because you have so many people interpreting this role. I think there are six origin stories. I’ll be really interested to see how I feel about it. I want it to be really great. But I don’t want it to be that much better than me. Just a little bit is fine. But if everyone is like ‘Oh thank god, now’ I might find that a little difficult.”
