Habib stars in short film for the first time

Popular Bangladeshi musician Habib Wahid starred in his first short film, ”Abar Tui,” which was released on its production company Gaanchill Music and Cinema’s official YouTube channel on Wednesday.

Though the musician previously starred in his own music videos and acted out a few lines, this was the first time he acted in a 23-minute short film which even had a track of his own, “Abar Tui,” in it.

Model and actor Ayesha Marzana is seen alongside Habib in the film.

The short film, shot in Bali, Indonesia, was directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu. 

The track in the film was penned by Ranju Reza and composed by Habib himself.

The screenplay of the short film was co-written by Taneem Rahman Angshu and Mir Shafiqul Karim Srabon.
