Dwayne 'DJ' Bravo to sing a Bangla song

For a Cricketer, Dwayne “DJ” Bravo's talisman as an entertainer is equally vivid as his hits. Be it on the field or off, the big-hitter Caribbean just never ceases to amaze people. With his buzz-making upbeat song “Champion,” the 34-year-old all-rounder won the hearts of millions, including that of not-much-of-a-cricket-fans during the World T20 last year. To the delight of the Bangla music aficionados, the star cricketer turned crooner is now all set to voice a Bangla song. Composed by popular singer and composer Kaushik Hasan Taposh with his own lyrics, the number has been titled “Bhalobashi Bhalobashi.” Bravo took it to Instagram to announce the news. In a video post uploaded on his account, Bravo was seen singing a part of the song with Taposh. “Taposh featuring DJ Bravo! Coming soon Bhalobashi Bhalobashi,” he wrote in the caption of the video.

“He came to know about me through the theme song for I made for Comilla Victorians,” Taposh, the composer of the song, said to a source on Thursday. He added: “He then listened to some other songs that I composed and came up with the proposal of composing a number for him. To discuss further, Bravo came to my studio with some of his team-mates.”

The “Wind of Change” producer looks forward to “present the audience with an international standard track” very soon. Taposh is also creating an international version of the song in English to make it equally accessible to the global audience.

After his smashing hit “Champion,” Bravo, the big-time charmer, previously voiced Hindi songs. Being the fun-loving, dance crazy human being that he is, Bravoook took Bollywood stars by surprise at this year's IIFA and made the big-shot B-Town actors including the likes of Salman Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Dhawan, Anupam Kher, Shahid Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, dance with his hit single “Champion.” [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y963o_1q71M[/embed]
