No official position for Shakib Khan at Bangladesh Chalachitra Forum

Bangladesh Chalachitra Forum, an organisation consists of the film artists, crew, directors and producers, has commenced its journey and Dhallywood film star Shakib Khan hasn’t been entitled to any official position in the organisation. The launch of the forum was declared in a programme held at the Square Lounge in capital’s Dhaka Club on Monday afternoon. Producer Nasiruddin Dilu and Director Kazi Hayat have respectively become the president and the general secretary of the organisation. Being one of the earliest protagonists of such a forum, Shakib Khan’s name unexpectedly appeared at bottom of the executive committee list, though some sources claimed that it was his own choice. Shakib said: “This is a platform for the neglected and deprived artists. I proposed the issue to Producer MD Iqbal for the first time and today it has come into force.” To express his rage over the incidents that occurred between him and the rest of the local film industry in the last couple of months, the film star said: “What are these organisations for if an artist raises his voice only to get banned.” Eminent artist ATM Shamsuzzaman recited from Holy Quran at the beginning of the programme. The programme was anchored by Film stars Moushumi and Nusrat Faria.
