And judging by its looks, this 904HP monster is bound to rip a hole through time. Promotion in the form of Weeknd and Daft Punk's hit “Starboy” will only help the makers achieve such immortality.
Porsche 918 SpyderThis is the rarest, fastest, quickest, and most ground-breaking Porsche ever produced. The hybrid supercar develops nearly 900HP from a 4.6-litre V8 gasoline engine and two electric motors. They catapult the machine - initially in silence, until the V8 kicks in - to speeds that are inappropriate for public roads. But the extreme performance is not the car’s only attribute. In fact, the 918 Spyder is docile at dawdling speeds, and it is as comfortable as any other sports car out there.
Lamborghini AsterionThis year, Lamborghini unveiled something that took the automotive world by surprise - a plug-in hybrid. Officially named as “Lamborghini Asterion LPI-910-4,” this 910 hp green-eyed monster is currently just a preproduction technology demonstration but we can certainly expect to see something similar in a not-too-distant future. The Asterion’s 5.2-litre 610HP mid-mounted V10 engine is paired with three electric motors that supplies an additional 300HP. With this type of power at its disposal, Lamborghini claims the Asterion can hit 60mph from a standstill in under 3 seconds and that, it can reach 78mph solely on electric power.
