With sharp cheekbones and blue eyes, Arshad Khan, the Pakistani tea vendor, took the internet by storm earlier this year. His photo surfaced around social media, which was captured by photographer Jiah Ali and soon #ChaiWala started trending on Twitter.
Arshad became an internet sensation among the Indian subcontinental ladies. After landing a modelling job- he went on to give interviews on Pakistani national televisions, where he expressed his ambitions of making it big as a model. Later on, even SRK made comments on him, wishing him the best.
The blue-eyed vendor turned model recently made an appearance on the music video of a tack titled, “Chaiwala,” by Sid Mr Rapper. The video has been viral in its own right so far, but the reactions are a bit polarized. Some are saying that the rapper is making fun of the naïve Arshad, other are saying that it was just for the fun. The song will probably never termed as a classic for its music, but it does have a catchy beat with a lot of comic relief shots.
