Long and deep sadness for the thousands of martyrs of the war on Gaza.
We will face long and exhausting efforts as we work to bring Gaza back to life, and we will rid the West Bank and Jerusalem of the harm caused by the army allied with the settlers, who constantly excel in harming the Palestinians, their property, and their way of life in their homeland and on their land.
However, as we draw life from the brink of death, we surpass the killers not only through our legendary steadfastness against their army, politicians, and settlers but by proving our resilience everywhere. Did the Palestinian flag not rise high outside Congress to remind those who are absent from consciousness, truth, and life that their applause and the pay from AIPAC won't work? The Palestinian flag will not fall from the sky of the world, simply because it is the symbol of the future.
Didn't Netanyahu make a journey of circumambulation, begging that the flag of Palestine would not fly in Paris alongside the flags of the countries of the world? This defiance alone is the gold medal obtained by Palestine, in exchange for no medal obtained by Israel, through significant calls not to allow it to participate without Macron's intercession.
Didn't Rashida Tlaib’s small, meaningful, and courageous act overshadow the miserable, paid-driven applause with two words stronger than bullets and American aircraft shells: "WAR CRIMINAL"?
Didn’t the empty seats in Congress signal to Netanyahu that the American consensus on him has eroded, after the Criminal Court restricted him to the list of war criminals, and the International Court of Justice classified his occupation of Palestine as more deadly than the murder of a people who have lived on their homeland since the dawn of history?
After the begging tour that began when he set foot on Washington’s airport ground, he will go on a fun vacation to extinguish a family birthday candle, while extinguishing the lives of thousands of children in Gaza.
