The government of Bangladesh has requested popular social networking platform Facebook to provide data of 57 users in the last six months of 2016.
Facebook authorities have given 24.49% information out of the 49 requests filed from July to December, according to the social network’s latest Global Government Requests Report.
The United States topped the list making a total of 26,014 requests and Facebook provided them 83.46% information.
The government had requested Facebook for data of 10 users in the first six months of 2016 and the social media giant referred nine user accounts against the requests.
