Mohammad Mohiuddin Molla, a retired government official, died on Tuesday. He was 70.
He died at the house of his son Mohammad Al-Masum Molla, the deputy chief correspondent of The Daily Star, in the Shankar area of Dhanmondi. He leaves behind his wife and three sons.
He was buried at his ancestral village Kamaria of Gazipur following three namaz e janazas at Dhanmondi, Gazipur city, and his ancestral village.
The Dhaka Reporters Unity family have expressed deep sorrow at his demise and sympathy to bereaved family members.
