Senior cine journalist, organiser and presenter Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi died of Covid-19 yesterday while undergoing treatment at Japan East West Medical College Hospital in Dhaka.
The 65-year old journalist is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
He tested positive for Covid-19 last week and was admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital.
Later the journalist was shifted to Japan East West Medical College Hospital.
Lodi was awarded the prestigious Fazlul Haque Memorial Award in 2018. He was also an active member of Bangladesh Cholochitra Sangbadik Samity.
