Setara Begum, 65, has passed away due to old age complications.
Setara, the mother of Dhaka Tribune’s Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Correspondent Aminul Islam Babu, passed away in her house on Monday morning.
She was suffering from chronic kidney disease.
She left behind three children, a son and two daughters, grandchildren and a host of relatives to mourn her death.
She was buried in her hometown in Rupganj, Narayanganj, after two separate janaza on Monday afternoon.
