Deepto TV announces three new series

Deepto TV has announced the telecast of three new series in a press conference at their office on Thursday. Of the three, two are local drama series titled “New York Theke Bolchi” and “Moddhobortini”  and the other - the premiere of season 8 of the super hit Turkish TV series “Sultan Suleiman: Kosem.”

Deepto TV’s Chief Operating Officer Kazi Urfi Ahmad, Program Chief Fuad Chowdhury, actor Hillol and Nowshin were present at the event.

Kazi Urfi said: “Among the two local series ‘New York Theke Bolchi’ was shot in New York and Bangladesh. Many Bangladeshi expatriate actors starred in the series. For the first time, Deepto TV is producing a 72-episode series based on Rabindranath Tagore’s short story ‘Moddhobortini’ which also shares the same title. The eighth season of Bangladesh’s most popular foreign series, ‘Sultan Suleiman: Kosem,’ will air soon.”

“New York Theke Bolchi,” written and directed by Rahmat Ullah Tuhin, will air from Saturday. The series feature Raisul Islam Asad, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Tony Dayes, Intekhab Dinar, Hillol, Tarin, Nowshin, Richi Solaiman and others. It will air every Saturday and Sunday at 6pm and 9:30pm.

“Moddhobortini,” written by Ahmed Hirok Khan and directed by Raju Khan, will air from July 14. The series will feature Sohana Saba, Anisur Rahman Milon, Doly Jahur, Shatabdi Wadud, Nabila among others.

Season 8 of “Sultan Suleiman: Kosem” will be aired from July 21.
