Pori Moni hospitalized again

Popular Bangladeshi film star Pori Moni has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Dhaka on Friday night due to ill health. She was suffering a high fever and at the time of being admitted to the hospital her temperature was 104 degrees.

Later on she posted a photo of her hand connected to an IV pipe on her official Facebook fan page. She wrote a caption which says: “Again.”  

She is currently under the supervision of Dr. Nikhat Shayla Afsar.

The hospital recently said that her blood samples were taken and they can figure out what sort of fever she is suffering from after they get the reports.

Previously, she was taken and admitted to Apollo hospital on Eid day due to ill health. The doctors admitted her on June 16 and kept her under observation for 24 hours. The doctors back then concluded that Pori Moni was fine and it was just stress related issues.

She went back home on June 17.

The last production Pori Moni worked on was Gias Uddin Selim’s second feature film “Swapnajaal” which was commercially successful both in Bangladesh and overseas.

Produced by Bengal Creations, the film is a Bangladesh India co-production which featured Pori Moni and Yash Rohan in the lead roles.

Set in the mid-nineties in a local suburb of Bangladesh, the film is the love story of a young couple set against the backdrop of communal riots. The film was distributed by Ashirbad Chalachitra.
