Program to increase interaction between Japanese and Bangladeshi companies held in Osaka

Forty five Osaka-based companies of different sectors participated in the program to have interaction with the Bangladesh companies. 

The areas of interest of the Japanese companies are logistics, warehousing and distribution, freight forwarding, IT, health and beauty, water purification, banking, insurance, yard operations for automobile export, autobus, tools, machines, fishing hooks, towels, apparel, food inspection, gas supply equipment, chemicals, metals etc. 

The program was arranged by UNIDO Tokyo and supported by the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI)

The Director of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) spoke about the investment situation in Bangladesh and 

The director-strategy of HAISON International explained the business requirements and the real aspects of doing business in Bangladesh.

A Japanese company that has business operations in Bangladesh also spoke and informed the Japanese companies about his experiences of doing business in Bangladesh and they are thinking to dispatch a business mission to Bangladesh to explore business opportunities.
